Dr. Ekkehard A. Köhler is a Full Professor of Economics and Economic Education at the University of Siegen and holds a doctorate in economics from the University of Freiburg. His research interests focus on the transmission of economics into economic education. He conducts applied empirical and experimental economic research projects. Research stays took him to the Paris School of Economics and to the University of Southern California.

He has a soft spot for the preservation of the history of economic thought (he actually publishes in this field) and loves to teach by enabling students to field their own experiments.
